Hallmark had been producing cookie cutters since the 1960's . In the early 1970's they greatly inreased production. These products were colorful and well made. All of these cookie cutters are Vintage and in Very Good to Excellent Condition. See description for any flaws. Some can be identified but all were made in the 70sand 80s. in Hard or Soft  plastic with detailed designs.  They are also called imprint cookie cutters as they leave the design in the cookie dough. Decorating them add to their appeal as special and festive cookies.
H=Hard Plastic, S=Soft plastic, E=Eyelet, EX= Excellent, VG=Very Good Condition,

CARE OF PLASTIC COOKIE CUTTERS.
Do Not put plastic cookie cutters in the dishwasher. Always wash by hand in a mild soap. You can use a soft brush, such as an old toothbrush, to remove dough. Rinse in cool water and air dry.  Wrap them separately  in something soft, not scratchey, like plastic or bubble wrap and store in a box or large zip lock plastic bag.  With care they may last a lifetime and become family heirlooms.

The following 4 cookie cutters, the Santa, Snowman, Angel and Christmas Tree were issued in a set in hard plastic in 1973. They all had the HALLMARK INC. mark in capital letters and were issued in red and green. They were reissued individually in soft plastic with eyelets  in 1977.

1983 Mini Teddy Bear Hallmark Cookie Cutter
The Hallmark imprint cookie cutters made in the 1970s are becoming harder to find and their value is increasing.  Those like the Peanuts characters  and the large sizes of Santa Faces and Snowmen in top hats are becoming very rare. Although they are expensive now they will become more expensive over time.  The first four Very Rare cookie cutters that I have listed are still priced below their current value.
