Beautiful Noritake fine china, Pattern Mystery #179  Discontinued, Made in Occupied Japan circa 1950. Elaborate and delicate pattern with gold trim, maroon rope band, floral sprays and pale yellow background with round white center trimmed with scalloped ring. China marked "Made in Occupied Japan" was manufactured following World War II from 1945 through early 1952.  Each piece is marked with this Noritake backstamp. BV=Book Value.
