I bought this coat at Sears in 1960. There is no label but it is wool tweed and has a mouton collar. I have worn it a few times in the coldest weather that we have in Texas. Some years it didn't get cold enough to wear it. It is a heavy, very warm, what I call a snuggly coat. There is a cloth collar under the mouton and a hook so you can turn the collar up to warm your neck and ears. The color is a nubby like tweed mixture of black, blue and a hint of tan or dark yellow. Patch pockets. Six 1 1/2" black buttons. Size 14; Length from shoulder neck seam 42". The lining is a soft black fleece with an innerlining. The sleeve lining is acetate and there is a striated area in the upper right sleeve lining that needs mending. Other than that the coat is in Very Good + Condition. No moth damage that I can find. It has been stored most of the time with moth balls in the pockets. It is a wonderful coat and would be great to wear where there is real winter weather.
