These beautiful Santa Ornaments depict the changes in Santa's clothing over a long period of time.
There were 15 of them made 1984 through 1987 by Christmas Reproduction, Inc, called The Memories of Santa Collection. You can read the entire list by clicking on the images below. These four Santa's are 1905--Father Christmas, Beloved by the children of Great Britain. 1906--A Bavarian St. Nicholas, snugly warm in red robe with brown trim. 1920--Santa with the famous and popular "Teddy" Bear, named after Theodore Roosevelt. and the last of the series 1925-The most familiar Santa Claus, done up in his red costume with white trim. The certificate that come with each Santa Ornament has complete information which you can read by clicking on the images below. The Santa ornamenst are handpainted and detailed reproductions taken from antique chocolate molds, early chromo-lithographs and turn of the century post cards. They depict the evolution of Santa Claus from the early St. Nicholas to the Santa we know today. All ornaments are 5" tall, and have a gold cord for hanging on your tree.
